General Contractor in Hatch, Utah
Hatch is where Cedar Breaks Construction is based, along US-89 between Panguitch and Bryce Canyon National Park. It is a small town, and we know it and the surrounding Garfield County backcountry as well as anyone building here. New homes, remodels, additions, and seasonal cabin maintenance for the ranches, cabins, and homes in and around Hatch.
High elevation, small-town, backcountry building
Hatch sits at roughly 6,900 feet, the highest elevation in our service area. Winters here are long and serious: heavy snow load on roofs, deep frost-depth footings, and real freeze protection on plumbing and exterior work are not optional. We build and remodel with that elevation in mind from the first plan, not as an afterthought.
This is a small, rural community (a couple hundred people in town, plus ranch and cabin properties scattered through the surrounding country), so well water, septic systems, and long driveways or access roads are common parts of a project here, not the exception. We plan for site access, utilities, and equipment mobilization up front so it does not become a surprise mid-build.
Hatch sits about 22 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park and close to Panguitch Lake, so a lot of our work here is cabin and vacation-property construction, additions, and seasonal maintenance, alongside standard single-family homes and ranch buildings.
Permitting for Hatch and the surrounding unincorporated areas runs through Garfield County. We handle the permitting and inspection process directly so your project keeps moving.
